6. Sturdy Belly Band Holster

If you’re looking for an alternative concealed carry style, you should consider belly bands. When it comes to the level of concealment, this belly band can match any IWB or AIWB holster. It’s made of functional layered nylon of the highest quality. Although the material is quite tight, it’s still very comfortable to wear. I carry it attached to my stomach area, which allows me to conceal it very easily with just a T-shirt. It’s true that if I compare it to a belt holster, my Sig Sauer P225 A1 isn’t that easy to access, but this can be overcome and you’ll get used to drawing from the holster after a couple of practice sessions.

Due to the elastic holster part of the belly band, it will fit virtually any handgun, not just your Sig Sauer P225 A1. This makes the holster extremely versatile and you will be able to keep using it even if you get a different pistol or revolver. The holster also features a detachable and adjustable thumb break strap, which will keep you Sig Sauer P225 A1 very secure and it will prevent it from falling out.

The belly band doesn’t only let me carry my gun. It also comprises a compartment for my daily essentials, such as ID cards or a pocket knife. On top of that, the band also features a mag holder for spare ammo. Even when your  Sig Sauer P225 A1 is holstered, the belly band is virtually invisible, leaving no imprint on the covering garment. The holster can be made for both right and left-handed shooters and it is now available in black color and in any of the following sizes - XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL.

5. Thigh Bag For Concealed Carry

This off-body concealed carry bag is an ideal alternative for any OWB holster for your Sig Sauer P225 A1. Moreover, the level of concealment it offers is much greater than most usual holsters carried outside the waistband do. I find the bag very comfortable to wear. I can easily attach it to my waist and thigh via the adjustable straps. These two attachment points result in a very high stability.

Construction-wise, the entire concealment bag is made of extra durable polyester fabric (cordura) and the key parts are sewn together by high-quality threads. The bag is also entirely hand made, which grants it a unique, custom feel. When it comes to its design, the bag is suitable for both urban and natural environments.

This bag includes 3 completely zippered pockets, also featurining pull-on straps, which results in quick and easy access. The bag is designed for guns up to 9.25’’ x 5.7’’ size and your handgun will be stored in a separate section, which increases its security. Moreover, the gun compartment features extra protective lining. Even though the bag looks quite compact, it still offers ample room for your Sig Sauer P225 A1 as well as your entire EDC set. Mine comes in olive color, but you can also choose from black and coyote. The bag’s also fully ambidextrous.

4. Shoulder Holster System

Shoulder holsters have lately become probably the most favorite carry option. They look stylish and if it’s not too hot outside, they are also easy to conceal. And that’s also the case with this horizontal shoulder rig. When I first tried it on, I was impressed. The first thing was the premium leather it’s made of, the second the fact that it comes assembled, so you won’t have any issue using it straight out of the box.

A huge benefit of this Sig Sauer P225 A1 holster is that you can make great use of it even if it’s hot outside. The back of the holster body is equipped with a belt slot and belt panel and if you detach the holster from the harness, you can simply carry it as a belt side holster. The rig also features a thumb break. However, if you decide to get it for a bigger pistol or revolver, don’t be surprised if it’s non-detachable. They do this to make the bigger guns more secure inside the holster, which I think is great.

A frequent problem of shoulder rigs is their balance. However, the mag/speedloader pouch this system comes with solves the issue and works as a great counterweight. If you don’t feel like this is enough, there’s also the attachable belt tie-down strap the system comes with.

The only problem I’m having with this rig is that it’s only designed for horizontal carry, which could be a problem if you decide to get one for a really big pistol or revolver. Also keep in mind that if you’re a bigger guy, you’ll have to ask for a harness customization as by default this holster only works for up to XL sizes. All in all, this is a perfect shoulder rig that you’ll most definitely dig.

3. Cross Draw Holster

Are you a fan of cross draw carry? Then you’re in the right place. This custom leather holster for Sig Sauer P225 A1 is probably the most popular cross draw holster on this list and there are a couple of reasons for that. You know that cross draws require a good cant, strong leather and proper stitching. This holster has got it all. As you can see, it comes with belt loops on either side of the holster, which enhances its stability.

You’ll enjoy this cross-draw holster especially when driving or sitting at your desk, at least that’s when I prefer to carry it. When it comes to the material, the holster is built of premium Italian leather and sewn together with high-quality German threads. The leather covers the entire barrel, which further enhances safety this leather cross-draw holster offers.

You’ll feel secure about your Sig Sauer P225 A1 thanks to the featured thumb break. It’s true that it takes a bit longer to draw and re-holster, but you’ll master that in a couple of hours. Moreover, the thumb break is reinforced by steel, so it won’t get flimsy over years of use. You can get this holster in two colors - mahogany and black. Just don’t forget to select the correct hand. If you’re looking for a comfortable cross draw holster that’s been well received by many, then you should get this one.

2. Tactical Bag For Concealed Carry

Traditional SoB holsters (small of the back) can be quite problematic, as you usually end up muzzling those behind you upon drawing. That’s why I decided to try out an off-body alternative to the traditional middle of the back carry. And I don’t regret the decision at all as this bag is more than ideal for everyday concealed carry. It’s mainly designed for shoulder carry, and you can choose if you want your Sig Sauer P225 A1 gun to rest on your lower back or hip. Moreover, the shoulder strap it features comes with is detachable and the bag can be utilized for outside the waistband carry as well.

This entire bag is made of functional layered nylon and it features strong and durable stitching. The bag is fully hand made, which grants it a unique, custom feel. Just like the name suggests, the bag boasts high utility. This is a result of multiple separate compartments it consists of. The frontal section closes with a magnetic flap and trident backle, the middle one is operated via a drawstring and the rear one utilizes a zipper. Every single compartment also includes internal pockets with easy access, so that you can store and have your entire EDC always at the ready. The back section of this bag is reinforced, allowing for safe and comfortable carry, draw, and re-holstering.

This bag will also take in guns with lasers or lights attached, which makes it even more tactical.  This great alternative to SoB holsters is suitable for ambidextrous use and it’s available in a number of different colors - black, natur grey, olive, and coyote. The bag’s dimensions are  8.6'' x 6.7'' x 3.3''.

1. Urban Concealed Carry Pouch

This concealment pouch is ideal for anyone who lives in a state that doesn’t allow open carry. The bag is designed for off-body concealed carry and, just like its name suggests, it’s ideal mainly for urban environments. If you’ve previously used mainly belt holsters, then you won’t need much time getting used to this pouch, as it’s also designed for belt carry.

The pouch is attached via adjustable Velcro belt loops, which means it fits belts of pretty much any size. The entire concealed carry pouch is made of high-quality polyester. Moreover, all of the key parts of this product are double-stitched, which results in its high durability. What I love about the pouch is that it allows me to carry all of my daily essentials. I carry my Sig Sauer P225 A1 in the separate, extra lined section, but there are also other compartments in which I can store the rest of my EDC (such as documents, spare ammo, cary keys and more).

The Urban Concealed Carry Pouch is ideal for both right and left-handed shooters as it comes in an ambidextrous design. It’s also available in multiple colors - black, coyote, olive, and natur grey. And if you decide to drift away from the Sig Sauer P225 A1, it can be made for many other gun makes, as long as they’re not longer than 8 inches.
